Welcome to Carlbury

Carlbury Developments Ltd was formed in April 1999 with the aim of renovating the former Convent in Reeth Road, Richmond, North Yorkshire and purchasing other similar brownfield sites. The stated aim of the company is to further sustainable and sympathetic development of existing building buildings and land.

Our current developments are

Richmond Convent

After being damaged by fire in 2000 the Richmond Assumption School has been sympathetically converted to 22 apartments using traditional materials coupled with modern technology. All plots have now been sold.

Silver Street

The proposed development will include two town houses and eight apartments to be built in a style to be sympathetic to the historic conservation area in which it is located.

Thorngate Court

Situated within the conservation area of Barnard Castle the proposed units range from 2-3 storeys. The houses have from 3-5 bedrooms and are designed to reflect and compliment the historic nature of the setting.

Willow Bridge

Willow Bridge is a small, exclusive development of 11 detached residences set in private landscaped grounds and adjacent to beautiful open countryside.
